Here is the latest H1B 2012 updates:
As per the updates given by USCIS on April 27th, regular H1B Cap filings have reached 8000, the total being 65000. Advanced degree Cap filing count has touched 5900 of 20000. So, total 13900 / 85000 that is the status.
The prediction algorithm says that it may take till Feb 2012 to fill the full numbers i.e. 85000.
So, people who has not yet found out prospective H1B sponsors need not get dissappointed as there is plenty of time left.
